Making of spicy vegetarian lentil samosas: 1. Preheat the oven at 375°F. Meanwhile, rinse the lentils thoroughly with water and pressure cook them. Make sure that the lentils are boiled thoroughly. 2. Heat the oil in a large pan on a medium flame and add chopped onions to it. Cook the onions for about 5 minutes until they start to get tender. Now, add potatoes, carrot, and spices. Mix gently. 3. Add pepper, ginger, and garlic and let them cook for another 10 minutes. You can add water if the mixture looks dry. Let it cook for another 10-15 minutes and then switch off the gas. 4. Take the one square of the pastry sheet and place one tablespoon of stuffing on it. Apply water on the edges with your finger and seal them. Seal the sheet such that it forms a triangle shape. Make the remaining samosas. 5. Place the samosas in the oven and bake them until golden and crispy. 6. Yummy and lip-smacking spicy vegetarian lentil samosas are ready to satiate you to the full. Though being baked, these samosas taste delicious.
