Laddu Recipe Laddu is a sweet dish that is being prepared in India for centuries. Apart from being prepared during festivals, these light and tasty desserts can be savoured at any time of the year. Besan ka laddu tastes best when pistachios and almonds are added to the recipe. 3. Bundi ka laddu: This is another very popular Laddu recipe of India. The delicacy is also popular as Motichoor ka laddu. These are commonly made during Indian festivals like weddings, pujas or Diwali. Bundis are made up of small round shaped drops of sweetened pulses. These laddus are equally popular among kids as well as adults with a sweet tooth. They owe their immense popularity to the ease of preparation and the few ingredients required. Dry fruits like raisins, cashews, saffron and cardamom are also added to this preparation to make it even better. 4. Til laddu: This delicacy is usually prepared during festivals like Makar Sankranti, Janmashtami or Lohri. It is a sweet dish generally prepared during the winter. Til Laddu recipe consists of sesame seeds and saffron flavoured jaggery. Because of the presence of these components, it provides a sense of warmth. The dish requires very less number of ingredients and can be prepared by a simple process. This is why this sweet dish is extremely popular in the Indian subcontinent and is enjoyed throughout the year. Even though there are many other recipes of laddu preparation that are popular throughout the country, these varieties are famous and are made throughout the year.
